Bankroll Planner
Thursday 22 October 2026 · 14 matches to choose from
Enter your budget and pick how much risk you want today. The planner builds singles and accumulators from today’s matches in the competitions we cover and spreads your stake over them. Every probability comes from the bookmaker odds with the margin removed, so the numbers are honest about what to expect.
How the planner works
For each match it takes the most likely outcome within the odds range you chose, one range for singles and one for accumulator legs. Singles use the likeliest selections; accumulators prefer matches that are not already a single. Asian handicap lines can also push (stake back) or settle half won or half lost. A leg like that does not sink an accumulator, but it lowers the payout. So every bet shows two chances: that it pays in full, and that it ends in profit at all. They use how often each kind of line ended that way in our own data since August, scaled to today’s market probability. The stake is split by the chance of profit (or equally) and rounded down. The summary simulates today 20,000 times; selections on the same match move together.
📈 How the three presets did
We replayed the planner on every day from 15 Aug to 21 Oct, with the same rules as above and a bankroll of €100 that is reset every day. Bets were settled on the real results, including pushes and half wins on Asian handicap lines.
| Preset | Days | Days ahead | Typical day | Worst day | Best day | Expected return | Actual return |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Low risk (5% a day) | 57 | 46% | −€0.16 | −€5.00 | +€1.45 | -2.0% | -2.7% |
| Medium risk (10% a day) | 57 | 47% | −€0.07 | −€10.00 | +€4.75 | -3.4% | -7.0% |
| High risk (20% a day) | 56 | 50% | +€0.26 | −€20.00 | +€20.75 | -6.1% | +3.9% |
“Expected return” is what the odds predicted for exactly these bets, after the bookmaker margin. “Actual return” is what really happened. Over a few weeks the gap between the two is mostly luck: a couple of big accumulator days can put a risky preset in profit, and a couple of bad ones can do the opposite. Over time, results drift towards the expected return. Past results do not predict the next day. Updated daily.
📖 What this betting bankroll planner does
It is a stake calculator for one day of football betting. You set your bankroll and how much of it you want to use today, and the planner spreads that amount over singles and accumulators from today’s matches. Every bet shows its odds, the chance it pays in full, the chance it ends in profit, the stake, the return and the expected result. You can add any single or accumulator to the bet slip with one click.
The probabilities come from the bookmaker odds with the margin removed, not from our own prediction model. That keeps the numbers honest: they are what the market expects. If you want our model’s view, see today’s picks and how it has performed on the statistics page.
Singles or accumulators?
Each leg of an accumulator carries the bookmaker’s margin, and those margins multiply. With a margin of about 5% per leg, a 2-fold gives away roughly 10% and a 5-fold more than 20% of the fair price. Accumulators make a big day possible, but they lose more on average. That is why the low-risk preset leans on singles and short accumulators, and the high-risk preset on longer ones. Why many Asian handicap bets end in profit without paying in full
An Asian handicap on a whole number, like +1, gives your stake back when the match lands exactly on the line. In our data since 15 Aug that happened in 24% of the whole-number lines the planner can pick. Quarter lines, like +0.75, are split over two bets: 12% ended half won and 11% half lost. Inside an accumulator such a leg does not sink the bet, it only lowers the payout. That is why the table shows two chances per bet. New to this market? Start with Asian handicap explained.
Using the planner well
- Decide your bankroll once and stick to a small daily share. Our guide to bankroll management explains why.
- Pick a preset for the swings you can live with, then fine-tune. “Risk” is about how much your day can move, not about winning more.
- Compare the odds in the table with your own bookmaker. Lower odds than shown make every bet a little worse; see betting odds explained.
- A long-term edge only comes from value betting, not from how you split your stake.
❓ Frequently asked questions
Is the bankroll planner free?
Yes. It needs no account, and your settings are saved only in your own browser.
Why is the expected result negative?
Bookmakers build a margin into their odds. Once that margin is removed to get fair probabilities, every bet at the offered odds is worth slightly less than its stake on average. The planner shows that openly instead of hiding it.
What is the difference between “pays in full” and “ends in profit”?
“Pays in full” means every leg wins completely. “Ends in profit” also counts results where an Asian handicap leg pushes or wins half, as long as you get back more than your stake.
How much of my bankroll should I stake per day?
Most bettors who last keep it small: around 5% to 10% of the bankroll per day. The 50% and 100% options exist so you can see what that does to your chances, not as a recommendation.
Which matches does it use?
Today’s matches in the 16 competitions we cover, or only the top five leagues and the Champions League if you choose that in fine-tune.
