| Double (2) | 65.8% | 1.45 | -4.4% |
| Treble (3) | 51.7% | 1.76 | -9.4% |
| 4-fold | 44.8% | 2.15 | -5.0% |
| 5-fold | 38.4% | 2.62 | -0.9% |
| 6-fold | 32.7% | 3.18 | +1.7% |
| 7-fold | 25.7% | 3.91 | -3.2% |
| 8-fold | 20% | 4.78 | -8.0% |
What this shows: every extra leg multiplies the odds, but it also multiplies the chance of a loser. With legs between 1.40 and 1.80 a double landed about half the time, a 5-fold about one day in five and an 8-fold about one day in twenty. The returns do not climb with the odds: each leg carries the bookmaker margin, so a longer acca pays more when it lands, but it lands so much less often that the margin catches up. Short accas with short legs keep the swings small; long accas are lottery tickets.
Method: every day since 3 July 2026 (4,859 matches) we took the shortest-priced selections inside the odds range, one per match, from match result, double chance, goal lines and both teams to score, with the bookmaker odds before kick-off. Each acca was settled on the shortest-priced legs of the day inside the range. "Landed" = share of days every leg won, "Return" = profit or loss per acca at a level stake. The same rules pick our daily acca tips.
How an accumulator pays out
An accumulator (acca) is one bet on several selections. The odds are multiplied, so the return grows quickly, but every selection has to win. A void leg, for example a postponed match, counts as odds of 1.00 and the acca continues with the other legs.
Worked example
Our accumulator of the day
Every day our model builds an accumulator from its strongest picks. See today's legs, total odds and track record on Acca Tips Today.
Each way accumulators
An each way acca is two accas: one on all selections to win and one on all selections to place, each with the same stake. The place acca uses the place odds of every leg (for example 1/4 or 1/5 of the odds), so it pays far less, but it survives when a selection only places. Tick each way in the calculator and set the result of each leg to won, placed, lost or void.

โ FAQ
How are accumulator odds calculated?
Multiply the decimal odds of all selections. Four legs at 2.00 give total odds of 16.00, so a stake of 10 returns 160.
What happens if one leg is void?
The void leg counts as odds of 1.00. The acca stays alive and pays out at the odds of the remaining legs.
What if one leg loses?
The whole accumulator loses. If you want a return with one loser, look at full-cover bets such as the Yankee or Lucky 15.
Is acca insurance included?
No. Offers such as a free bet when one leg lets you down differ per bookmaker, so the calculator shows the standard return.
How many legs should an acca have?
There is no right number, but every leg cuts the chance of landing it. On our own data an acca of legs at 1.40 to 1.80 landed about half the time as a double, one day in five as a 5-fold and one day in twenty as an 8-fold.
